Savings and Share Draft Services

Share Account (Savings) This account is a basic savings account. Deposits may be made through payroll deduction, direct deposit, mail and at the office. Dividends are credited to the account on a quarterly basis after the balance has reached $100.00. Share accounts are opened by completing a membership card and sending in an initial deposit of $26.00. Share Drafts (Checking) With a share-draft account at Yorkco, you can finally have a true no fee checking account. No monthly fees No minimum balance required No limit to the number of checks written per month In addition, you have automatic over-draft protection, up to six per month and low cost duplicate share-drafts. Share-drafts may be reordered over the Internet, by returning the order form or by calling the office. Christmas & Vacation Clubs These accounts are a great way to save for that Jolly Red-suited man that appears in December or for that much-needed vacation. Club accounts can be opened at any time. The full balances of the accounts are transferred to your share account the first week of October for Christmas clubs and the first week of April for Vacation clubs. Payroll Deduction Enjoy the effortlessness of saving with payroll deduction. You specify the amount you want withheld from your payroll and your school district will send the Credit Union a check for that amount. Your accounts are usually credited the Monday after you are paid. It can be any amount and can be distributed to any account or accounts that you indicate. Direct Deposit The net balance of your pay is credited to your account by 9:00 a.m. the day that you are scheduled to be paid. The funds are then distributed to your other accounts as you have indicated to the Credit Union. Call the office for the routing and transit number and the account number that should be given to your business office to start this terrific time saving service.
